Diesen Wettbewerb Comic habe ich 2003 am Comicfestival Fumetto in Luzern ausgestellt. Das Thema war Gewalt und die ausschliesslich mit Acryl gemalten Panels behandeln die alltägliche, zuweilen subtile – und darum auch nicht als solche erkennbare – Gewalt. Am Schluss wird dem Protagonisten das Blaue vom Himmel versprochen, bis er blauäugig blind geworden in einem Unfall ums Leben kommt.
I exhibited this competition comic at the Fumetto comic festival in Lucerne in 2003. The theme was violence and the panels, painted exclusively in acrylic, deal with everyday, sometimes subtle - and therefore not recognisable as such - violence. At the end, the protagonist is promised the blue sky, until he dies in an accident, having gone blue-eyed and blind.
